The Mohns family designed and built their own motorcycle hitch and introduced it at the 50th Anniversary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and the rest is motorcycle hitch history. The HitchDoc name is synonymous in the motorcycle industry as the motorcycle hitch to have.

HitchDoc is also well renowned for its contract manufacturing ability and manufactured ATV and UTV plow mounts for Cycle Country in the 2000s, long before they purchased Eagle Plows.

In 2016, HitchDoc purchased American Manufacturing, the designer and maker of the Eagle Plow Systems. Since the acquisition, HitchDoc has improved the Eagle Plow line’s manufacturing process, designs, and function.

In 2024, the Eagle Plow was rebranded under a division of HitchDoc Outdoors, which was created to bring quality products to the power sports market. With new innovative plow designs, Eagle Plows is souring about the competition.
